With the victory, Appomattox County advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Raiders host Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. The Knights enter the match with a record of 1-2.

The Cavaliers now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dan River for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Chatham will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 34-23 non-league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.
