The Bears (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Newton-Conover was trounced by Bandys (Catawba, NC), 33-16, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Maiden will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
