The William Byrd Terriers basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Franklin County Eagles to 42 in the Terriers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Terriers now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Staunton River for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. William Byrd will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 33-24 non-league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-7.

The Eagles (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league test with a 3-5 record.
