Next, the Panthers clash with the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 15. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 31-22 non-league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).

The Falcons (8-3) will now prepare for their test against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 2-5 record.
