California High School Soccer - University Prep knocks off Central Valley

The University Prep Panthers soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Central Valley Falcons to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Valley for a Northern Athletic bout on Thursday, January 16. University Prep will play a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Central Valley moves to 2-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to play the Miners in a Northern Athletic bout on Friday, January 17. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Yreka lost 4-3 in their recent league bout against Lassen (Susanville, CA)
