The Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) ice hockey trounced the host Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 5-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Tigers now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smithfield for a non-league outing on Friday, January 17. Ridgefield will encounter a Sentinels team coming off a 3-1 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Sentinels record now stands at 5-7.

With the defeat, Greenwich moves to 4-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to encounter the Rams in a FCIAC outing on Saturday, January 18. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 9-0. New Canaan won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT)
