The Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC), 51-42 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bearcats now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Monroe for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16.
With the loss, West Stanly falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Colts host Piedmont (Monroe, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-7.
