The East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA) basketball crushed the host Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), 55-27 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Madison County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. East Rockingham will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 43-42 non-league loss to Luray (Luray, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Broadway falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Gobblers host Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-12.
