In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Cape Fear Colts basketball team scored a close 43-39 triumph over the Jack Britt Buccaneers.
The Colts (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, South View nipped Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 70-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Buccaneers confront the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a contest, on Friday, January 17. Jack Britt will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 3-7 record after their 70-49 league loss to South View (Hope Mills, NC).
