The Central Woodstock Falcons basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Madison County Mountaineers to 36 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Falcons now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Spotswood for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Central Woodstock will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 62-27 non-league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Madison County falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host East Rockingham (Elkton, VA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 8-1. East Rockingham won 55-27 in their recent non-league game against Broadway (Broadway, VA)
