In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Silver Fighting Colts basketball team scored a big 64-30 win over the Cobre Indians.
The Fighting Colts (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Mayfield smashed Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 57-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Dexter Demons (Dexter, NM) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Cobre will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Demons come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 53-48 non-league win over Tatum (Tatum, NM).
