The Panthers now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Smoky Mountain for a bout on Wednesday, January 15. Franklin will play a Mustangs team coming off a 56-26 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, West Henderson falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Tuscola lost 56-26 in their recent non-league bout against Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC)
