The Patriots (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, January 17. South Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 77-62 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC).
