With the victory, Perquimans upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Pirates host Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Knights enter the match with a record of 4-2. Riverside-Martin won 71-15 in their recent non-league match against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC)

The Red Barons now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bear Grass Charter for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. Gates County will face a Bears squad coming off a 47-36 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Bears record now stands at 7-4.
