The Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) basketball edged the visiting Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 41-37 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Creek for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. Rosewood will play a Gators team coming off a 63-54 non-league loss to Midway (Dunn, NC). The Gators record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Hobbton falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Harnett Central won 72-69 in their recent league game against Triton (Erwin, NC)
