The La Jolla Vikings basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Mira Mesa Marauders to 67 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Point Loma for a game on Friday, January 17. La Jolla will confront a Pointers team coming off a 62-47 non-league win over Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA). The Pointers record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Mira Mesa falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Marauders host Coronado (Coronado, CA) to confront the Islanders in a game on Friday, January 17. The Islanders go into the game with a record of 7-10. Coronado lost 69-51 in their recent league game against Madison (San Diego, CA)
