North Carolina High School Basketball - Orange trounced by Southern Alamance

The Orange Panthers basketball squad (Hillsborough, NC), was crushed 54-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC)

With the victory, Southern Alamance advances its record to 11-0 on the year. The Patriots host Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC) to meet the Eagles in a battle on Friday, January 17. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 8-4. Eastern Alamance lost 70-37 in their recent non-league test against Person (Roxboro, NC)

The Panthers (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 7-1 record.
