In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Redondo Union Sea Hawks basketball team scored a good 53-42 win over the Palos Verdes Sea Kings.

The Sea Hawks (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs come into the contest with a 20-1 record. In their last contest, Mira Costa defeated Lakewood (Lakewood, CA), 73-65, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Sea Kings battle the Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) in a contest, on Friday, January 17. Palos Verdes will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 44-39 league loss to Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA).
