The Waynesboro Little Giants basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 35 in the Little Giants non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Little Giants now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Fluvanna County for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Waynesboro will confront a Flying Flucos team coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Riverheads falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 1-6. Bath County lost 54-30 in their recent non-league game against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
