The Varela Vipers (Miami, FL) basketball toppled the host Southwest Eagles (Miami, FL), 60-51 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Vipers now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MAST Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 16. Varela will face a Makos squad coming off a 68-27 non-league loss to Schoolhouse Prep (Miami, FL). The Makos record now stands at 3-4.
The Eagles (0-8) will now prepare for their outing against South Miami (Miami, FL). The Cobras enter the non-league outing with a 1-8 record.
