With the triumph, Salado advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to University (Waco, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, January 17. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-4. University lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Temple (Temple, TX)

The Yoemen now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Grange for a 4A Region 3 District 24 test on Friday, January 17. C.H. Yoe will clash with a Leopards team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Taylor (Taylor, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 4-4.
