Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) and the host Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX), saw Ysleta's soccer squad hold off Riverside by a count of 2-1.

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region 1 District 1 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Fabens was edged by Bowie (El Paso, TX), 10-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Rangers battle the Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 1 battle, on Friday, January 17. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX).
