    The Fitzgerald Spartans basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans to 44 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.

    The Spartans now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Utica Eisenhower for a Macomb Area - White game on Friday, January 16. Fitzgerald will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 66-55 league loss to Utica (Utica, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 5-6.

    The Titans (0-8) will now prepare for their outing against Romeo (Romeo, MI). The Bulldogs enter the Macomb Area - White outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Romeo was overwhelmed by L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI), 47-40, in a league outing.
