Texas High School Basketball - Johnson fells MacArthur

Johnson Jaguars (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), 58-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Johnson upgrades its record to 18-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Madison (San Antonio, TX) to play the Mavericks in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 8-15. Madison lost 76-47 in their recent league bout against Brandeis (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Brahmas play the Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 28 bout, on Tuesday, January 18. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 13-15 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 10-12 record after their 54-31 league win over Lee (San Antonio, TX).
