The Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions basketball team (Chardon, OH), was nudged 39-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)
The Warriors now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Catholic for a North Coast - Blue battle on Wednesday, January 19. Walsh Jesuit will confront a Cougars team coming off a 58-20 non-league win over Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 8-6.
The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against South (Willoughby, OH). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, South edged Bedford (Bedford, OH), 71-37, in a non-league battle.
