The Central Aroostook Panthers basketball team (Mars Hill, ME), dropped 56-40 in Monday's league battle with the host Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME)
The Cougars now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee Academy for a D North battle on Thursday, January 18. Katahdin will battle a Pandas team coming off a 74-70 league loss to Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Pandas record now stands at 2-8.
The Panthers (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Easton (Easton, ME). The Bears come into the D North battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Easton prevailed over East Grand (Dansforth, ME), 76-12, in a league battle.
