With the victory, Chesterton improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host La Porte (La Porte, IN) to confront the Slicers in a Duneland challenge on Monday, January 15. The Slicers come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. La Porte lost 65-35 in their recent league challenge against Lake Central (St. John, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs (Northome, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Laporte will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 92-48 non-league loss to Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN).
