In Monday's league outing, the Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID) basketball squad beat the host Jerome Tigers (Jerome, ID), by a margin of 52-43.
The Wolverines (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Minico (Rupert, ID). The Spartans go into the 4A Great Basin outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Minico defeated Nampa (Nampa, ID), 47-38, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Burley for a 4A Great Basin outing on Tuesday, January 16. Jerome will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 60-49 league win over Mountain Home (Mountain Home, ID). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-9.
