Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA), 59-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Old Forge upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Blue Devils host Dunmore (Dunmore, PA) to clash with the Bucks in a Lackawanna 3 bout on Thursday, January 18. The Bucks go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Dunmore lost 59-53 in their recent league bout against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA)

Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 bout, on Thursday, January 18. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 60-57 league win over Riverside (Taylor, PA).
