The Lewiston Blue Devils tipped the host Sanford Spartans basketball team by a final score of 51-48 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Blue Devils face the Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) in a AA North game, on Friday, January 19. Lewiston will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 4-6 record after their 51-39 non-league loss to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME).
With the loss, Sanford drops to 5-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Massabesic (Waterboro, ME) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, January 19. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 0-10.
