South Carolina High School Basketball - Midland Valley topped by Airport

The Airport Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs to 52 in the Eagles league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Augusta for a AAAA Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Airport will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 34-25 non-league win over Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 14-5.
The Mustangs (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the AAAA Region 4 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, South Aiken prevailed over Airport (West Columbia, SC), 51-26, in a league contest.
