With the victory, West Elk upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Flinthills (Rosalia, KS) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Flinthills won 42-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Udall (Udall, KS)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Sedan Devils (Sedan, KS) in a South Central Border challenge, on Friday, January 26. Argonia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Devils come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 53-52 league loss to Cedar Vale/Dexter (Cedar Vale, KS).
