The South Shore Cardinals (Port Wing, WI) basketball crushed the visiting Bayfield Trollers (Bayfield, WI), 62-12 in Monday's league test.
The Cardinals (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Mellen (Mellen, WI). The Granite Diggers go into the Northern Lights test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Mellen walloped Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI), 56-44, in a league test.
The Trollers now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Drummond for a Northern Lights contest on Tuesday, January 16. Bayfield will meet a Lumberjacks team coming off a 52-35 non-league loss to Siren (Siren, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 9-3.
