Holmes County Blue Devils (Bonifay, FL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bethlehem Wildcats (Bonifay, FL), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holmes County upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Chipley (Chipley, FL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Chipley lost 36-20 in their recent non-league bout against Graceville (Graceville, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Bethlehem will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 57-39 league win over Laurel Hill (Laurel Hill, FL).
