Jackson Aggies (Jackson, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Citronelle Wildcats (Citronelle, AL), 72-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jackson upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Aggies travel to Escambia County (Atmore, AL) to clash with the Blue Devils in a 4A Area 2 bout on Friday, January 19. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Citronelle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 54-36 league loss to Davidson (Mobile, AL).
