Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), 63-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Edward Little upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Red Eddies host Windham (Windham, ME) to play the Eagles in a AA North bout on Friday, January 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Portland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 29-28 league win over Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME).
