In Monday's league outing, the Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN) basketball squad beat the visiting Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN), by a count of 67-57.

The Knights (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN). The Lions go into the A Section 1 outing with a 4-7 record.

The Knights now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Randolph for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 16. Kenyon-Wanamingo will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 68-38 non-league loss to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 5-7.
