In Monday's league outing, the Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME), by a count of 47-38.
The Bulldogs (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors go into the A North outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Nokomis was topped by Hampden (Hampden, ME), 56-43, in a league outing.
The River Hawks now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gardiner for a A North bout on Friday, January 19. Skowhegan will play a Tigers squad coming off a 63-39 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
