Minnesota High School Basketball - Madelia topped by New Ulm Cathedral

The New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Madelia Blackhawks to 51 in the Greyhounds league victory on Monday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loyola for a A Section 2 contest on Tuesday, January 16. New Ulm Cathedral will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 57-21 non-league loss to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-6.
The Blackhawks (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Nicollet (Nicollet, MN). The Raiders come into the A Section 2 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Nicollet was defeated by Martin County West (Sherburn, MN), 55-51, in a league contest.
