California High School Basketball - Northgate thwarted by Miramonte

January 15, 2024: Orinda, CA 94563

The Northgate Broncos basketball team (Walnut Creek, CA), was toppled 58-39 in Monday's league battle with the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA)

The Matadors now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clayton Valley Charter for a Diablo battle on Wednesday, January 17. Miramonte will confront a Ugly Eagles team coming off a 44-32 league win over Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Ugly Eagles record now stands at 11-6.

The Broncos (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Falcons come into the Diablo battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, College Park was toppled by Alameda (Alameda, CA), 63-41, in a non-league battle.
