Win-E-Mac Patriots (Erskine, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Red Lake County Central Mustangs (Oklee, MN), 47-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Win-E-Mac upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Patriots travel to Park Christian (Moorhead, MN) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 13-1.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze (Newfolden, MN) in a A Section 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Red Lake County Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Northern Freeze go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 52-46 league win over Goodridge/Grygla (Goodridge, MN).
