The South Fayette Lions trounced the host West Allegheny Indians basketball team by a tally of 76-49 in Monday's league battle.
The Lions now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKeesport for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 18. South Fayette will confront a Tigers team coming off a 58-49 league loss to Oakland Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.
The Indians (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Hopewell trounced Central Valley (Monaca, PA), 49-39, in a league battle.
