In Monday's league battle, the host Highlands Scots soccer squad scored a close 7-1 win over the San Juan Spartans.
The Scots (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Rio Vista (Rio Vista, CA). The Rams go into the Sierra Delta League battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Rio Vista nipped San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Spartans (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies come into the Sierra Delta League test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Golden Sierra nudged Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
