The Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves basketball team (Waynesville, NC), dropped 50-30 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC)

The Warriors now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Temple Baptist for a battle on Tuesday, January 16. Veritas Christian Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 40-24 league win over Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.

The Red Wolves (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC). The Fire come into the battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Christian Family Academy prevailed over Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC), 42-21, in a league battle.
