The Golden Valley Bulldogs basketball squad (Bakersfield, CA), lost 49-38 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA)

With the victory, Arvin advances its record to 14-4 on the year. The Bears host Foothill (Bakersfield, CA) to meet the Trojans in a South Yosemite - Horizon battle on Friday, January 17. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 4-13. Foothill lost 87-50 in their recent league battle against Del Oro (Bakersfield, CA)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tehachapi for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. Golden Valley will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 103-36 league win over West (Bakersfield, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-5.
