The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) and the visiting Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI), observed Beal City's basketball team overcome Lake City by a margin of 50-42.

The Aggies (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI). The Bobcats come into the Highland challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Houghton Lake defeated Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI), 62-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Roscommon Bucks (Roscommon, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Friday, January 17. Lake City will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 88-45 league loss to McBain (McBain, MI).
