The Lancers (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Nogales (La Puente, CA). The Nobles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, Nogales was routed by Azusa (Azusa, CA), 54-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Phantoms encounter the Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA) in a Camino Real challenge, on Friday, January 17. Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 66-55 league loss to Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA).
