The Central Magnet basketball squad (Murfreesboro, TN), was outscored 58-44 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Community Vikings/Viqueens (Unionville, TN)

With the victory, Community advances its record to 4-5 on the year. The Vikings/Viqueens travel to York Institute (Jamestown, TN) to meet the Dragons in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Dragons enter the battle with a record of 0-12.

The now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tullahoma for a 3A District 8 battle on Friday, January 17. Central Magnet will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 73-63 league win over Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-2.
