The Rocktown Raptors basketball squad (Harrisonburg, VA), was nudged 49-45 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA)
With the victory, Charlottesville advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Black Knights host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to meet the Warriors in a Jefferson battle on Friday, January 17. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 9-3. Western Albemarle won 73-46 in their recent league battle against Orange County (Orange, VA)
The Raptors now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rockingham for a Valley battle on Friday, January 17. Rocktown will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 61-38 non-league win over Madison County (Madison, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
