Virginia High School Basketball - Tazewell routs Council

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Tazewell Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 78-32 triumph over the Council Cobras.
The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The Bearcats go into the Southwest contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Virginia High smashed John Battle (Bristol, VA), 82-68, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cobras battle the Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA) in a Black Diamond contest, on Friday, January 17. Council will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 75-49 non-league loss to Tazewell (Tazewell, VA).
